Shipbuilding complex “Zvezda” has made a name for itself at the leading international exhibitions that took place in September in St.Petersburg. SSC stands were presented at the expositions of the 13th International exhibition and conference for oil and gas resources development of the Russian Arctic and continental shelf of CIS countries - RAO/CIS Offshore 2017 and the 14th International exhibition and conference for the civil shipbuilding, shipping, ports activities and ocean and shelf development “Neva-2017”.
RAO/CIS Offshore 2017 was held from 12 till 15 September in Mikhailovsky manege. It aroused great interest among Russian and foreign specialists of the field, industry, business and science representatives. This year, works in the field of marine oil and gas resources development have been presented by more than 300 Russian enterprises and foreign companies, including Rosneft, Gazprom, Lukoil, Sevmash, Gazprom flot, Oceanpribor, Afrikantov OKBM, Shipbuilding complex “Zvezda”, Aaker Solutions, General Electric Oil&Gas, Siemens, TechnipFMC and others.
The exhibition was visited by more than 1900 specialists from Russia, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Canada, China, the Netherlands, Finland, the Czech Republic, Japan etc.
Within 4 days of the event during the plenary meeting and ten round table discussions, specialists of the field discussed key problems and perspectives of Arctic and continental shelf development, including creation of the modern fleet to develop charts of sea transportation of oil and gas resources, ensure industrial and environmental safety of continental shelf works.
Since the first days, stand of “Zvezda” Shipbuilding complex aroused heightened interest among the visitors. Youthful and dynamic company attracted attention due to the bright design, realistic models of the shipyard and the orders, along with the advanced program of the Russian large-capacity shipbuilding development. As the result, the company has received diploma of the exhibition for the first place in nomination “The most informative stand”.
The 14th International exhibition and conference for the civil shipbuilding, shipping, ports activities and ocean and shelf development “Neva-2017” was held from 19 till 22 September 2017 in ICEC “EXPOFORUM”. More than 595 companies and enterprises from 36 countries, including: Russia, Germany, France, Holland, Norway, Great Britain, Spain, Iceland, Portugal, Turkey, China, India, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, the USA, took part in the exhibition. “Neva” is the biggest civil marine exhibition in its class in the Eastern Europe and within the post-Soviet territories.
One of the most important subjects of the exhibition was the program of modernization of the existing and creation of new capacities, shipbuilding and industrial clusters for the construction of large and medium-range vessels, renewal of the merchant fleet for cargo transportation and creation of the marine facilities to ensure natural resources extraction on the shelf. And in this vein, SSC “Zvezda” acted as a modern shipyard that can in the nearest future enhance positions of Russia in the field of modern vessels and marine facilities construction.
Representatives of LLC “SSC “Zvezda”: Olga Igorevna Schukina and Julia Sergeevna Smekalina, specialists of the protocol division of the affairs department, JSC “DCSS”- Vadim Sergeevich Kazanin and Polina Anatolievna Nechaeva, head and chief specialist of the marketing department,- had been working for two weeks at RAO/CIS Offshore and “Neva” as the exhibitors. Sergei Ivanovich Tseluiko, Managing director of the Shipbuilding complex “Zvezda”, Yury Nikolaevich Taratonov, Acting Technical manager, Alexandr Yurievich Saev, Deputy Technical manager for production, Albert Magzurovich Abdrahmanov, Deputy Technical manager for information technology, Irina Alexandrovna Ascheulova, Head of the Logistics department,- took part in the exhibitions and conventions, negotiated with the potential suppliers and partners.
